“The approximately 11 million undocumented immigrants living in the United States pay $11.6 billion per year in taxes, a figure that would increase by $805 million if the executive action measures taken by President Barack Obama are approved, according to a study released on Wednesday. The report by the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy says that undocumented immigrants currently pay 8 percent of their earnings as taxes into local and state public coffers.”
