“Nunez pointed out that a recent study done by the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy (ITEP) undocumented Californians contribute around $3.2-billion in local and state taxes.“They are not taking anything from anyone,” she said. “All we are asking is that what they contribute, they receive. We should continue the fight to expand MediCal for undocumented adults. Let’s give them the opportunity because they are contributing to our economy.””
