Public Assets Institute: Vermonters’ Incomes Outpaced School Taxes (1996-2006)

“Since the passage of Act 60, Vermonters’ incomes have grown at a faster rate than their school taxes. Additionally, the percentage of Vermonters’ incomes that they collectively spend on school taxes has dropped from 3.7 percent in fiscal 1996 to 3 percent in fiscal 2006.”
